Hi All,

How I can identify in Solaris that which ports are in used and which ports are free?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

use netstat command to get the opening port. At the same time check your /etc/services file. it gives you list of services and port it listen too. OR do your self a favor, use portscanner program on your unix host.

Hope this will help you.

regards,
feroz
