That site has both flavors of Personal Oracle 8i - for NT/2000 and for 98.

I downloaded Oracle Personal Edition from this web site for Win98.

Works well.

I doesn't have the Form Builder and so on.... Does it mean that only Enterprise Edition has Form Builder ?

Isn't Form Builder part of Oracle Developer, not part of the database (Enterprise or otherwise)??

Form Builder is part of Oracle Developer.

But I have only Windows 98 and Oracle Database 8i.

Is it possible ?

I haven't found any version I could download from OTN!

In your other thread on this subject, I mentioned a link to the Oracle Store to purchase an Internet Developer CD pack. This CD pack contains Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition database so I doubt that the Oracle Developer/Forms on it is 9i - probably 6i (I think Oracle skipped 7 and 8). And the Developer listed says 95/98/NT/2000. Anyway, I'll bet the Forms Developer listed on Oracle Technet will work on 98 (even though it just mentions NT) - I would think it would be worth a try anyway.

I downloaded 8i (8.1.7 Enterprise Edition) for NT/2000 last week, but I can't seem to find it (or any other 8i downloads) on their site anymore. I can only guess that they are trying to shift the focus to 9i.

What error messages are you getting when you attempt to log in. Make suer you are using the correct connect string.

Downloads from the technet site may time out; see if a multipart D/L is available or try with a program that resumes interrupted D/Ls
( BTW, the phrase "didn't succeed" is a little vague; be more specific and maybe another solution will be more on point)
