I recently migrated my users and public folders from our old Exchange server to a new one, same version of Exchange 5.5 SP4. Now, users get a message in Outlook 2000 every now and again that says:
Unable to update public/free busy data. The contents of this public folder are currently unavailable. Either the Microsoft Exchange Server servicing this public folder is down or the public folder has not been replicated to the site. See your administrator.
I also had to rename my migrated public folders as the originals are there but not accessable.
I have scoured the MS KB, read article Q152960 which seems extreme to me. The KB article on getting rid of orphaned public folders is useless as I cannot access the properties of the old ones.
I have read the MS KB article that suggests making changes to the IS using the consistancy adjusted and I have done that, but nothing has changed.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
Ashley
