Hi,

I have a MS 2000 server running exchange 2000. Half of our clients have IMAP accounts created in their OL03 clients and the other half have exchange accounts. I am under the impression that using the free/busy files is a way to integrate calendars between the two types of accounts, but I can't figure out how to set it up so that it works. Is what I'm describing even possible? All users are in the Active Directory. I can get calendar sharing to work between exchange accounts as well. Are there other solutions?

Thanks,

Jon

I would do that, only some of these people have their software set up just so, and changing their accounts would be a pain. If that's the only way to do it, then that's what I'll have to do, but I guess I was under the impression that this free/busy thing would somehow work. Is that not the case?

Jon

AFAIK you'd need something like a webdav connection to get the free/busy to work as it won't work over IMAP4. Changing their Outlook connector from IMAP4 to Exchange is probably simpler than what you are proposing.
