Hello i need some help.. I am using Dreamweaver2 and I make a index page with a left and right frame and then a frameset.... I want to make the left hand have links to different parts of the site and i want the different parts of the site to show up in the right frame how do i do this i have tried many ways and failed... thanks

I assume you have named your frames something like "left frame" and "right frame"
On the properties box target "right frame" on the page you want to open in it.
I assume you want it to do like my site at
built with DW3
 
You will need to use the target tag within the <a> tag
e.g. <a href=&quot;URL OF NEW PAGE&quot; target=&quot;right&quot;>LINK TEXT</a>
this will load the new page in the right window. Making sure that is, that the right frame is called right, you can call it whatever you like, but just make sure the target has the same name as the frame. You can also find a lot of information here
