Hi all,

New to this forum, and to creating webpages in livelink in general. I was just asked to convert our livelink page to a frame based page (for which I use dreamweaver). Can I even do frames in livelink ? For our livelink page, I usually only have one file, named "customview.html". I store that file as a document on livelink (and it always has to have that name), and voila, my html page is loaded in that folder.

I tried testing out one frame page, and loaded all the html files (customview, top, left, content). And all I get is a blank page. Does anyone know if I can still use frames in this kind of environment ? Will livelink allow customview.html to look up top.html etc.. ? Doesn't seem to be working for me. Thanks in advance,

Raphael

CUSTOMVIEW.HTML is embedded in the middle of a Livelink page so Frames are not allowed, you can however use IFrames instead.

Also some Livelink modules such as Appearance, XML Skins allow you to customise the look and feel of Livelink which may also solve your issue.

Thanks ggriffit, I'll go google Iframes and see what I can find. Cheers,
