Framemaker to PDF

Am using Framemaker 5.5 on windows 95, with Adobe PPD. After converting all files in a book to postscript file, I am havin gtrouble distilling the files in a book to PDF.
The headers and footers with graphics come out in the PDF but none of the text.
If I convert a single file in a book to PDF via the print command, the document comes out fine.
Can anyone help, please?

I do not know what type of setting u have done.
But u should check ur setting and use <b>print book</b> command <b>not only print</b> command.

This happens if you are using the wrong version of Adobe's printer driver and True Type fonts. Download the Adobe Printer 4.26 from

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=44&platform=Windows.

Also download the Adobe PPDs. Unpack them, them install the 4.26 driver picking the Adobe Distiller PPD that you just unpacked.

I expect this problem is why Adobe still posts the 4.26 driver on their site even though their new Universal driver is available.

You may have to delete &quot;newer&quot; versions of a couple of files that a post-4.26 driver installation has put on your system. If a warning is posted that your are about overwrite newer files, let the overwrite occur.
