We currently have 3 routers 2500 series routers connected to a Larscom channilizer (I think it is anyway). From the chanillizer there is a DB25 connector to the serial port on the 2500(dte or dce i forget) We are looking into upgrading these routers to 2600's and i need to know what kind of wics to get (I belive you cant get the old serial's any more dte/dce). can i get just a csu/dsu wic? how would i channilize it without the larscom? I hope i am making sense. Please help....

The WICs used on the 2600 routers have a smaller connection than the 2500 routers. I can't seem to remenber the number of pins that it has. When you order the routers, they come with the DTE DTE cables.

I think i figured it out. I belive that cisco sells the wic-1t,,, which has the same interface,db60, as the 2500s. it looks like they also sell a wic-2t or wic-2ta/s that is a different pin and is either high/low density. so i think i got it, any suggestions would be great
