FPW26 and Winxp

I have installed a program carried out in FPW26 (pacheado) that works correctly low win95 and win98.
When installing it low Winxp, the screens that contain icons or images bmp give as error
"I/O operation failure", the rest of the screens without these objects works correctly.
The images are included in the project and in the work portfolio.
Some idea on this error and recommendations to keep in mind under this SO?.

One possibility... This error can occur if the disk drives on the machine the application was compiled on do not match the target machine. i.e. If you compile this on a second hard-drive (D then if the target machine does not have a drive D: it will raise this exception. (No matter where you install it on the target machine).

We had a very similar problem, it turned out to be that the user had a large resolution set in XP, 1280 x 1024. When we got them to change it down, the crash didn't occur.

I ran into this once and had to cure it by excluding the image files from the executable.

With the received information and the carried out tests I have checked that the problems this in compiling the executable one in the unit D: and the alone client's Pc possesses the unit C:
Not yet I have proven the fixdrive
