Hi,
I would like to know the feasibility of using Visual Foxpro as a Back End and VB as a Front End. Does VFP has any advantages over MS Access. Also its limitations.
Waiting for a reply.

Thank You

one simple advantage of access over fox pro is that many people know what access is but not what foxpro is.

therefore customers usually prefer access, that doesnt mean that foxpro is bad.

Haiiii

I am a long user of foxpro
but still i converted our prgs to vb with access becuase of it security features and flexibility.

dont use fox again u may convert that db to access, it is simplest one

Just another qucik point on foxpro is that Microsoft are trying to phase it out in favor of Access and SQL Server. The problem then is when you start to use windows XP and Office 2000 and the like you have a lot of issues with Dll's and ODBC drivers and thew like when your deploying your application. My advice would be to definitely steer clear of it if you can. Mark
