Foxpro 3, Windows ME and the RUN! command

I can never get Fox3 to RUN! and external app. I get "RUN! command failed". Using Visual Foxpro 03.00.00.0596 for Windows, trying to run both DOS (e.g. pkzip) and Windows apps (e.g. Notepad). MEMORY() returns 640, SYS(12) returns 655360.

Is there some setup in CONFIG.FPW or FOXRUN.pif?

Look at your FOXRUN.pif and change the 'Cmd' to read cmd.exe instaed of command.com.
