Hoping that there might be a few Macintosh users out there that have FoxPro 2.6 installed under OS9.

Fox 2.6 worked great for a while and then strange behavior happened. In particular, the View window has two mini windows for the table list and relation list. It seems the Finder interface took over the FoxPro interface and it crashes consistently.

Any thoughts on fixing this strange problem?

Sorry, only that I haven't had any problems with FPM2.6 /G3 Clone/OS9.0

Try deleting the FoxPro preferences file? Are you using custom Appearances? Get any other interface inits loaded?

I'll have another look when I see my Mac at the weekend.

Have the same problem on my G3. Notice that it will occur after scrolling in the browse mode. On my Powerbook, however, the problem was solved by restoring the OS.

In the past, reinstalling the OS did work.
It no longer works.

I did install the 68k version on the PowerMac - AND IT WORKS great.

If your G3 has problems, install the 68k version. It is a little slower but works.

Matt -

I tried installing that using the non Power Mac recommended installation (isn't that the 68K version?). Same problem. Do I need to go to 2.5 version instead?

thanks. Glad to hear there's a solution.
