I have problem with app in FoxPRO 2.5. When i running this app on Pentium 120, I486 is everything allright. I have in my company six new computers with Pentium III, on this computer same application will hangs. Is there some patch for FoxPRO 2.5 for DOS or some solution ?
Thanks

How do you have the HArd Drives of the new computers formated?
16bit FAT or 32bit FAT?
FoxPro2.5 is a 16Bit application. David W. Grewe

The local drive is formatted with Fat16. But application, temporary files and tables are stored on Windows NT Server 4.0 on NTFS file system.

Then the only thing I can think of next is to upgrade to 2.6 then 2.6a then install the patches to 2.6a. David W. Grewe

Where can i find this patches ? On the Microsoft have found only patches for Foxpro 2.6 for Windows. I need DOS version.

We've had success with this problem by creating a superuse.txt file with the
contents of SUPER USER. This file should be at the root of c. This is what
we've been using with 2.5 on our faster machines.

Good joke or reality ?!

We have FPD 2.5a (point of sale system) running at
40 sites, Novell Netware 3.11 to 4.2

with machines from 386sx25 (still going) to
I think the new ones are celerons 600mhz+
