I have a user that would like to be able to sial into his extension from off-site and turn toggle his Forwarding UNConditional on and off. I'm pretty sure it's possible, but not sure how. Any help would be appreicated.

Go here: Click this: HOWTO: Create a remote access menu

The when in the menu system the you'll be able to login to your mailbox and change your user options.

Quick question, khollday: in the instructions you provide (which are quite nice, BTW)it says
"3. Import the two modules contained in the menuRemote.mod file into your current Voicemail Pro configuration." However, there appears to only be one mod in the zip file. I also wanted to ask, I'm currently having some MobileTwinning users toggling using a "CFG:Set extN twinning_type Mobile" statment from a menu in Voicemail Pro. Is there something similar to this for forwarding I could use rather than importing a seperate module, or is this where we're trying to get to?

Thanks...

Use the module
It contains also an option for mobile twinning

Well, would truly love to but I've extracted the file and attempted to import it, but I get an error "There was a problem importing from the file" Might I be missing something?

Could be the problem
Maybe it is made with a 4.2 vmpro, this is slightly different
Install a 4.2 vmpro on a separate machine and import there
Can you can copy it in to your vmpro machine :)

Installing 4.2 isn't going to be an option for me. This is my company's production VM box and the belief is "don't upgrade unless it's broken". Do you mean copy the mod rather than import? Don't beleive that's likely to work. If something's not easily do-able in this instance, I'm more than happy to tell the user to bugger off! :)

Thanks!

Just use your own pc and install the 4.2 client
Then import the module and you see what you need to setup

But upgrading a 4.0 will probably fix more then brake :)
4.0 is buggy

I'm all for it...now if you could just convince my manager!! I'll see if I can grab a copy of 4.2...thanks again!

There is a reason why 4.0 was pulled from the web site :)

And yes, all of the files on my web site are made for 4.2.

Sorry about that changed "modules" to "module" and removed the word "two". That is what happens when you are lazy and copy an existing document and try to change it to fit.

Ok, then I'll see if I can make a "case" for an upgrade. Personally, I'd rather be on a good stable release, but again, management being what it is...

Thanks all, will give this a go if I can get my point across.
