Hi
I am being asked if there is a way to forward the attendant to another office during lunch. The offices that need to be forwarded are OPT 11 v25 and OPT 11 succession 3. These would be forwarded to an office with an OPT 61. They are connected with PTI tie lines.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are a number or ways to do this.

You could try using night service to route the calls, if it's going to be at specific times each day.

Or if the other site has a console, then try setting up "NAS" in LD 86.

What I've done in the past, is to try and set up a phantom DN that is added in between trunk routes etc to route to the attendant as normal, but allow the customer to forward it where ever they want and when they want, by using a simple FFC code and using another FFC code (RCFA and RCFD) to cancel it.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

What type of phones are the attendants using? 2250 / 2616 ... etc? Is there 4 digit dialing between offices?

Hi

Thank you very much for the responses

I will look at LD 86

We are using 2250 at all offices

Also yes there is 4 digit dialing over the tie lines
