Foward extension to External #

How do i set this up:

i would like extension 11 fowarded to a outside number such as 954-555-xxxx. This forward will need to be in effect 24-7 for several months.

I programmed a personal speed dial (80) to dial the number and that works however when i program a button to foward to "80" the extension just rings and rings.

What do i need to do to make this happen

allow remote forwarding in the system programming #322 then enter in speed dial 80 for that extension the number you want to forward to, then forward the extension 11 to 80 (feature 11 11 80)
