I have a found set in columnar form. I would like to copy the found set into a portal in another table (which then creates new records in the new table) I have the portal and found set working, however cannot figure out the script to copy the found set into the portal. The Fields are the same. Any ideas? The "Copy all Records" tag copies only the found set which is good, however it ALL pastes in the first field of the portal and not in their respective fields. Thanks again,

Problem Resolved. I found two ways to do this, there are probably many more. First and easiest way is to export the found-set into a temporary file, then import the new temp file. As you will see in a later post of mine, a command script may be written to delete this temporary file after the data has been imported. The second way, and neater way to accomplish the same task is to write a script utilizing a loop to cut and paste each field individually into the new records linked to the portal. This took some time to figure out, however the advantage is that all data stays within the original file. Thanks goes especially to Tstriker.
