We just installed a BCM 400 and it is very new to me. I have been working with avaya for the last seven years, so please bear with me.
We have the BCM(we are using digital only) set up with a PRI that is connected to a second VOIP system(IP Phones...not a Nortel). We have it set up with an access code of 7 to jump to the secondary system. My dilemma is that we have about 85 numbers that are going to ride on the dialtone PRI that is going into the BCM that need to be automatically forwarded to the secondary system.
Example:
I'm ext 8300(NOT a physical extension) and I need my DID to come across the PRI, hit the BCM and be programmed so that it automatically goes to the secondary (voip) system. So ideally, I need to program "Forward: 78300" and have it jump to the secondary system. We are receiving 4 digits. Is this even possible? Thanks in advance.
