I HAVE A LEGEND MAGIX 2.2 SWITCH W/V.M. THE PROBLEM THAT I AM HAVING IS THAT WHEN CALLING IN AND YOU ARE TRANFERED THRU THE A.A. OR THE RECEPTIONIST IT GOES TO THE V.M. INSTEAD OF FORWARDING OUT TO CELL, AND IF YOU CALL FROM ANOTHER EXT. IT GOES OUT TO THE CELL PHONE PLEASE ADVISE THX JOHN

Can't hear you over your screaming.

Assuming that everything is set up properly for remote forwarding all you should need to accomplish is to forward the extension to the external number.

Perhaps you should post the extension print.

Yeah, let's do what CarGoSki Says, and we can figure it out.

Print the bad guy....

INCOMING CALLS ANSWERED BY THE A.A. AND THEN TRANSFERED GO TO V.M. INSTEAD OF FORWARDING TO OUTSIDE NUMBER AND WE DO NOT HAVE D.I.D.'S ALSO I HAVE SET UP THAT EXT. TO HAVE REMOTE FORWARDING AND TRUNK TO TRUNK TRANSFER AND WHEN CALLING THAT EXT. FROM ANOTHER EXT. YOU ARE ABLE TO FORWARD TO A OUTSIDE NUMBER

Well since you have not posted the extension print as requested I will take a shot in the dark. Delay forward time exceeds vm cover time.

And quit screaming at us. Turn your caps lock off.

I am including the print display hopefully this will help and I am sorry about the cap locks also the ext. has v.m. box
thx

Set the VM ports to do Trunk to Trunk as well, along with ARS of 3 and Unrestrict them too.

I'd be willing to bet that is the issue here.

I already have the V.M. set up for trunk to trunk transfer and the V.M. notification works (it will grab a trunk and call to outside number)and also has no restrictions .Whats puzzling me is that I have another exact same switch programmed this way and it works fine the only difference is that that switch has a PRI with D.I.D.'s could this make a difference
thx

Does the AA try to ring the phone or does it just dump into the voicemail box? Stupid question I know but just a had to ask.

Oh, I think this will help.

Set REMOTE ACCESS - NON TIE LINE - Restriction to UNRESTRICTED.

This may do it.

Let us know......

yes the A.A. does ring the ext. before going to voice mail and I even removed the ext. from the V.M. group and the ext. just kept ringing.

I also set remote access non tie line to unrestricted with no luck

Well thats odd. Sometimes you have to reboot the system. I've had that fix a lot of things. I could also be a problem with the release.
