IPO 4.07. We have a hunt group setup for our 3 customer service associates. At lunchtime one of the customer service associates needs to cover the front desk receptionist. I have setup an unconditional fwd button on each of the 3 cust serv associates phones. Scenario, at noon one of 3 customer service reps fwds to the front desk to cover. The other two reps are on the phone and another call comes in to cust service. it will not fwd the cust service reps phone who has set it to fwd to the front desk. It just keeps repeating our customer service hunt group message. In the fwd unconditional settings i have fwd hunt groups checked as well (I have tried it checked and unchecked) with no luck. Any help much appreciated. If you could try to be specific on a possible solution as I am very inexperienced with this phone system. thanks!

Create a button "Call Forwarding all"

Label;Call FWD (or just a name
Action; Call Forwarding all (Emulation>Call Forwarding all)
Action Data; leave blank

If the HG is a Collective (CallW) group then it's not possible to FWD to external.

Make sure that on the user "FWD Huntgroup call" is ticked.

Why don't you use follow me instead. This means you can leave your hunt group as is as you are not forwarding just change the key from forward all.

Bas1234, unfortunately I have tried that with no luck. This forwarding is to an internal # the front desk. I logged out 2 of the 3 customer service reps and set the 3rd to fwd to the front desk but it still goes into the customer service message loop. I also tried TheTaker's solution with the same result. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks for the suggestions so far. I am still open to more and will continue to try things as well.

Reedler, is this as Bas said a Collective ringing group? If it is that's why it does not work.

Ok guys the hunt group is Longest Waiting Group. Sorry I should have added this to my last post. Not sure what else to try from here.

Sounds like a bug in 4.07. I have tried this scenario and both Bas' option and mine work.

Why don't you put the front desk as a member of the other hunt group but put a button to Enable/Disable them from being a member. This way when the 3rd user goes to the front desk, they simply click Enable/Disable key.

Alternatively, as each user has a log in code, why not just log in as user#3 at front desk, and then put a HG_Front Desk group login key. In this case the 3rd user is still on the same extension, but sitting at front desk. And they are logged into the front desk group to receive calls.

Are all the phones on the same version?
Try another typ of phone.
