I need to be able to distribute an email that I receive to a group of recipients automatically.

I don't know how to set up the forwarding. It looks like it forces all email to be forwarded to email addresses with in our domain.

How can I do this?

Thanks.

Create user contacts for all the external addresses you need to forward the mail to.

Then create a new distribution list, add the new contacts to it. Bobs your uncle.

Alternatively you can add a rule in Outlook to achieve this also.

I need to go to Active Directory Users and Computers > Select my domain > go to users.

Add a new contact.

When I do this and try to add the new contact to the group the new contact does not show up in the list displayed.

I got it to work in a test. I will get the real list and try with that.

Thanks.

you open your contact - and go to the Member Of. tab - and then choose the group or DL you wish it to be a part of...

then add a forward to your account to that new contact..
