Forwarding calls

Help needed on call forwarding abnd voicemail:
User A has left the company and I forwarded all calls (Unconditionallly) to User B.
Turned off Vmail for user A. When I call user A, I can see that User B extension rings, but it does not go to User B's voicemail if they don't answer. It just keeps ringing.

I know User B's voicemail works when I call that number directly.

What am I missing?

That's the way it works, if an extension is forwarded, the coverage is with the original extension number.

Do you have embedded or vm pro?
 
Make a leave point for the former employee that directs VM to the forwarded extension
 
Thanks. Got it working with your help.

Created a Leave Point for the former employee to go to the new employee's Vmail.
Also had to turn on the Vmail for the former employee.
