Here is my question, I have a number assigned to a phone right now. I want to take the number out but I want to forward this number to an external number so that when people dial this number internal and external they get to this forwarded number. How would i do this. Also i don't want to use call foward on the phone to do this.

If you do not need this number working on a phone, build an acd queue, with maxp 1, ncfw to your external number

You can create an ACD with the NCFW going to the number

or

You can create a phantom DN that forwards to this number

John

That will work, thanks for the help.

Also, how could i create a phantom DN?

create a phantom loop and program very similar to a regular set, but if you have plenty of ACDNs available it's quicker to use the first method.

without adding a loop, you can use any tn above x x x 15, if your set is 4 0 0 0, build the same type set on 4 0 0 16, i use the acd, three prompts

ld 23
new
acd
xxxx
maxp 1
ncfw 9xxx xxxx..

the only problem you might run into is the ncos on the inbound route needs to be high enough to make the call. it works internal but not external, in that case try the acdo plus the number
