Can a DID number be hard forwarded to a CallPilot voice menu? Also, can that same DID have a voicemail box?

Thanks!

Yes and Yes

but if the DID is forwarded to a menu, it wont go to VM unless you have that defined in the menu somewhere. unforwarded it can go to its own VM easy.

On the PBX side - program the D.I.D. as an ACD DN - NCFW to Voicemail.

On the Voicemail side - as stated by Johnthephoneguy - you will need to define the DN in a menu.

That D.I.D. will need to be built in the SDN table and pointed to a menu which could give a choice to leave a message - and I believe that mailbox would need to be a different number.

This setup is for a group using the same extension (MCR 4000. If there is a issue, they would like to have the ability to forward 4000 to 4022 with as front end message.
I have setup the menu in application builder and I also created a SND - 4022.

Here's how we I have the ACDN programmed:

I believe all you need to do now is have the phone that has the MCR 4000 "Marped" to try and forward - and then - make a test call.

Ok, I'll do some testing....Thanks everybody!

so all you need to do is add vsdn to 4022, point it to a announcement service.. i've got one that just does a transfer to based on the tod and dow.. it plays a msg prior to transfer.. when the dept is open it transfers to a dept dn.. otherwise it transfer to a mb (express mail)

I setup a SDN for 4022 but calls are still going to vm. Any ideas?

if 4022 is both a sdn and a vmb.. the sdn should answer the call everytime... test the app by pointing another sdn to it.. just maxp1 a vacant dn to mail, add the sdn and call it.. if the sdn is recorded it should answer...

if i had one chance to teach anyone to trouble shoot.. the short version would be test apps and test points..
