An Outlook 2k user on our Exch 5.5 system just received a recycled PC (I reinstalled W98 and Outlook 2k from scratch) and now cannot view the entire content of a forwarded message (happens sporadically). This is the only user on our system with the problem. I've tried reinstalling, changing 'views', installing fonts, nothing works. We use corporate settings for Outlook. Any suggestions?

Yes I've seen this happen before. It always seems to point to the Server side. I wish I could remember exactly what to do. Check your exchange server and make sure that a preview has not been set up for that users email. When you say it happens randomly, does it usually happen on a large text message? Also when you double click that message are you able to view the entire contents? If so that is definately what is happening. I will look into it further. -Brad

Try this: On the View menu, point to Current View, and click Customize Current View. In the View Summary dialog box, click Other Settings. In the AutoPreview section, click to select Preview All Items. Click OK, and OK, to close the dialog box.

Yes, great! That did it (so simple, sorry I missed it). Her forwards are now coming through complete. Thanks for your help, Brad.

No problem glad I could help. That is something that MS incorporated with Office 2K. Outlook defaults to that setting. -Brad
