Guys,

I have a system IPO 500v2 9.0 system was upgraded form 8.1 and a while back. Ever since it was upgraded forwarded embedded vm messages to other users are truncated. The email that goes out is normal its just the the message forwarded from the original set. The original message that is left by the caller is complete its just after its forwarded.

This has been going on for a while and the customer has been living with it but now demands we fix it.

I remember reading somewhere that it is a issue that can occur after and upgrade. The suggested fix was to wipe the system fresh load 9.0/9.1 and redo the config.

Does anyone know a way to fix this without having to rebuild the config by hand?

Anyone have any thoughts on this.

I am working on a MetaSwitch migrateion right now and dont really want to reprogram the system.

I looked at my old post about this and there was a suggestion that the user was partially listening to the message and forwarding it. I will try this tomorrow and see if the problem is related to this.

I had the same problem and after re-formating the card, replacing the card, reprogramming the processor from scratch the only thing that finally solved it was replacement of the processor.
I think that the card reader was just not up to par as sometimes the voicemail also was playing the system prompts slowly.

The work-around is to listen to the whole message, exit VM then re-enter VM and forward the message. There never has been a fix and probably never will be I am told. Until somebody with an IPOSS files a ticket it will not be fixed.

My customer that had this issue has not complained about it since they have gotten the new chassis so I would think that this has solved the issue for them.
Maybe the hardware PCS version of the processor is playing into it as well.

This system does have IPOSS and the sd card was replaced about a year ago in an attempt to fix the issue but I just uploaded the old config and had them rerecord all greetings.

I have one other system with this same exact problem, but he is a friend and uses VM to email so he never really cared.

I am going to call it in under the IPOSS and see what happens this time. I have tried many times to reproduce this on my demo but can not.

Maybe we can get a real fix implimented if I can drive it far enough.

Thanks for you help guys.
