Forwarded calls

A boss send his calls to his secretary, but when she forward her phone to another extension, and somebody call to her boss, the call is not forwarded.
What should I have to do to make this work?

You can't do a double forward. You should use coverage paths instead.

Call forward function will forward the call to one person only. If you want your boss to have a secondary backup person, you need to use coverage path to handle incoming calls for your boss. You make yourself the 1st person on the path and the backup perosn as the second person on the path. When you are away from your deak, you activate the send-calls function then the incoming calls will jump to the second person on the path.

This secretary only wants to forward her (and his calls) sometimes, not everyday (for example, when she's on holidays).
If I set a coverage path, this will work always.

Instruct the boss and/or his secretary how to cancel the call forwarding to the secretary's station and invoke call forwarding to a second destination. Create speed dials, for both, if necessary.

Add a call fwd button on her phone with his ext on it. That way she can fwd his ext to the alternative person as needed.
