Hi, I have a customer with 5 sites using a UCX250 at each site interconnected over private intranet with SIP trunks. They have a situation where a caller leaves a voice message at site A, and the user needs to forward the message on to site B. I suggested using virtual extensions as a drop box at each site that, in turn, emails the remote site with an attachment. Then it can be forwarded on to the final destination through email. Is there a better way to allow the forwarding of messages between sites?

If you configure voicemail to email for all users who might need to forward messages, they can simply forward the email message with the attachment that they received.

Thanks for the response. For reasons of their own that don't totally make sense to me, and other reasons that do make sense, like not having speakers at the workstations, the customer does not really want to utilize the voicemail to email feature. Even as I suggested that they do it just for the sake of solving this problem, they'd rather not use or manage this feature. I was hoping there was a way for seperate UCX voicemail system to integrate enough to transfer messages between them. I found an old thread that pretty much says I can't do this.

Yeah - as far as I know, there is no way for a user to move voicemail messages between mailboxes on two different systems.
