I'm trying to change the forward unconditional number from VMPro. I have created a Generic with Change User or Group configuration. Where I have set From User to be the user and Parameter forward number. With value is equal to $CP0. which I have previously set equal to $KEY.

I can hear the number is the correct number and if I am in the Personal Options Menu I can also hear the correct number. But it is not saved in IP Office on the user. The Forward Number field is empty.

I am running Server Edition Rls 11.1.3.2

Have tried on 2 different IP Office installations in Rls. 11. Same problem. Has anyone experienced the same and maybe have a solution?

The error has been found. I found that to set the forward unconditional number from voicemail pro, the user extension and base extension must be the same. So I created a base extension 6636 as h.323. and then if data from voicemail pro to ip office and I can set forward number by calling VMPro and change it.
To change forward unconditional in the User section you would want to do that on the phone while that user is logged in using the feature button. VM Pro forwarding is only in VM Pro in my experience and you won't see it in the user fields.

If you use the feature button on that phone to unconditional forward you will see it show in the Manager information for that user. I hope this helps!

The user don't have access to the phone. She is on the road and wants to change the forwarding number. It works fine if she uses twinning and changes the twinning number in from VM pro. But with twinning the phone rings in the office and they don't want that.

If she is never in the office why not give her a phantom extension? And if she is in the office and really needs a phone use hot desking and log out when she leaves.

I have never been a fan of using VM pro to manipulate forwarding due to the security risk so can't help with that.

But I do have a question, how many different numbers does it need to be change to? If a preset list, you count use user variables to set it.

We use this often when needing to change rousted on call people remotely.

Maybe the issue is that you change the number but don’t set Call diesen to active?
