Forward to Voicemail without no answer time

Hi,

Is it possible to forward calls directly to voicemail without the "no answer time".

Because ?
- if user does not answer => calls forward to a another user after the "no answer time"
- if user active "voicemail" => calls forward directly to voicemail without the "no answer time".

There are different ways.
Why do you want this to happen?
What software version are you on?

its right, i will explain :


First => If a user does not answer to his phone (ex : 25sec), i want his calls are forwarded to another user.

Second => I want that users activate their voicemail. When the voicemail is activated, calls are to be transferred immediately (without using the "no answer time")

You need them to have there calls forwarded unconditionally to a shortcode.

Build a system shortcode like this:

#2XX (if you use a 3 digit dialplan starting with a 2)
Voicemail collect
"#"2N

Enable Voicemail on the phone

Calls will still follow forward no answer before going to VM.

put phone on DND, calls will route direct to VM

if the user does not want VM in normal operation they can activate & deactivate it at will from the handset

this is all basic operation & should have been covered when you took your IP office Admin training.
