Hello-

We have a Avaya 4424LD+ at our front desk. We want the ability to forward/unforward this phone to a wireless handset that we have at a different extension so the receptionist can walk around the office and still answer incoming calls.

I turned on remote forward in WinSPM, but when i printed out information on the extension for the front desk (0, 8300, 7300 are all valid extensions for this phone) it shows remote forwarding turned off.

On the phone when i try to hit #33, after i hit # the phone starts beeping. The feature button only shows the option 'follow me' on the screen.

Can someone help me enable remote forwarding for this phone?

thanks
ryan

Is the Console configured as QCC or DLC? If it is QCC, you are out of luck.

@Jim
Been awhile since I messed with a QCC console but when in QCC mode isn't there a button that routes calls to a fallover group? I suppose I could look it up.

There is the Position Busy or Nite Key that will force traffic to the group, or another QCC position, but that won't work for the poster's application. This is one of the reasons QCC is not liked, and makes it inflexible.

You can do a Call Pickup to the assigned station number of the 4424LD+. That might work if you can hear it when it is ringing.

is there an easy way to find out if its QCC or DLC?

thanks

If you login to the Magix with SPM and print the System Setup, or the Console stuff, it should show what is in the system. You can also print the Console by port or station number, then post it to this thread.

A Unassigned Extension : QCC

so i will assume that its setup as QCC. is this something that can be switched? or am i stuck with what i got?

program Qcc backup
use a calling group
have your cordless auto login as member
use position busy to forward to CG
