Hi All, Client has 12 analogue lines on an ip500. We need to forward one of the lines permanently to an external number. I have tried setting a hunt group with an extension and forwarding the extension permanently. this works if we dial the number internally. from outside it will not forward, even though we have tried using a different linegroup to go out?

Any ideas?

Create a speed dial, then in incoming call routing enter the speed dial as the answer point e.g *101

if it needs to be permanently diverted you would be better advised to have this performed at the local exchange

you need to enable trunk to trunk transfer in the system/telephony tab
you also need to ensure your lines have a "Disconnect Clear"

Analog lines are really not suited to this type of operation, it would be better to upgrade this site to ISDN
