How do I creat a phantom ext and then have that phantom forward to a long distance number?

Find an unused Phantom TN

Create a new Phantom TN in LD10

Make the NCOS high enough to dial the number

Set CLS CFXA

Set FTR DCFW 12 914145551212 replacing my number with your own desired number

Don't know where your Phantoms are? LD22 REQ PRT TYPE CEQU

Dont know what a Phantom is? Use an ACD Queue then. LD23 ACDN (a DN); MAXP 1, then set NCFW 914145551212

That'll get you on track I hope

Go to LD 20

LUVU (ent)
500 (ent)

Look for something that resembles:

TYPE 500 TN 208 0 01 13 PHANTOM 4D The important part is PHANTOM.

Once you have the spare phantom port you create it as any other 500 set. However when you are doing the facility programming, you will add:

CLS CFXA FTTU

FTR DCFW 12 123456789
and
FTR CFW 12

Why the CFW? DCFW will be a default and permanent forward number. If you want to vary it, you add an SCPW to the extension, then you can "remote call forward". A CFW will take precedence over a DCFW.

I was able to locate and setup the phantom OK. When I dial the number from an outside line I keep getting our receptionist. I've listed the 500 config below and x out the longdistance number.
