I need to setup a line to forward to an ext. and then if no answer go to the mailbox of the forwarded ext.

so line 222 I need to forward to 223 and go to mailbox ID 223

Put SFA in the CLS of the second phone

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

Second Level CFNA Allowed
on 223?

The go to 222 and just forward it to 222? Voicemail on 223 will then pick it up?

You will have to put 222 in 223's mailbox as an extension DN

put 222 in 223's mailbox as an extension DN"
is this after I put sfa on 223?

Merdian Option 11c

Correct, so 222 will forward no answer to 223 and 223 will forward no answer to vm. SFA has to be in the cls of 223. Keep in mind 222 will not be able to have a mailbox in this scenario because you are wanting 222 to go into mailbox 223.

ok so put -
cls sfa
on 223

On phone of 222 hit - forward 223 forward

Delete mailbox on 222

Modify mailbox on 223 and add 222 as an extension DN.

anything else?

Thank you for the info I will try this out!

No one asked if 222 needed to exist as an actual phone.... otherwise you could just add an IDC entry 222 223 and be done.

That would be great for external calls but not so much for internal. You could however do a dummy acd que or phantom if you wanted and that would cover both internal and external.

ha yes... your right.. it would have to be a night call forward on an acd..
