Does anyone know of a simple way to forward analog lines with an IP Office 500 in IP Office mode?

what are you trying to do here as several ways to do this

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

I'd like to forward a line from the phone system to an outside number (i.e. *72/*73).

I would never do that if there is no disconnect clear signal on the analog trunk, and you need two trunks.

If you are using LEC provided forwarding. The best solution is to have you main line in a separate out going call group. Make a short code to go out line group. 8N; / Dial / N / Line group of the main number. The only thing about this method is it takes your main line out of the 'Main' ARS rotation unless you create an overflow ARS.

Think twice, speak once~~!!~~

*facepalm* I can't believe I missed that. Working under the gun here. Thank you both.

The best solution is to use the PROVIDER forwarding, if they have the service (many typically do).
I've found the easiest way is on a mangers phone, or someone who isn't going to muck around, make a LINE APPEARANCE with no ringing for that main line. They just press the line appearance to get dial tone, then they dial the carrier code for forward on/off. Then you don't use your extra lines.
