How can i forward a virtual number in mitel to a 1-800#?

speedcall the number to the 1-800 number? call in on virtual number is routed to a speedial which has the 1-800 number as its target (including the digit used to dail out if any)

But how can you set a speed call up if its a virtual number the ext has no multicall set key assignments?

Don't use the term virtual if number exists, it's confusing. Phantom might have been better.

Delete whatever has the DN and make it a speedcall instead.

If for some reason the DN has to exist as an extension, tell us why and we'll propose a solution.

Bottom line, tell us the whole story. Garbage in Garbage out.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Sorry for the confusion, I will tell the whole story. There are three physical extensions (meaning three mitel 5330's) tied to the virtual number. The virtual number is not a physcial extension, i want to forward that number to a 1-800 number and understand how i would do it if the number had mutliline set key assignments but beings that it does not how do i forward the number to a 1-800 number? The virtual nuber is an ACD Path 100 number.

If the virtual number terminates to an ACD path you can setup call rerouting of the ACD pilot or path number to a speed call that then dials the 1-800 number. You then could toggle remote DND of the ACD path extension to either send the calls to the 1-800 or allow them to go to the ACD queue.

So if I understand you correctly setup a speed dial to the 1-800 number. Create DND call rerouting for the path extension number ( 100 ) to the speed dial. Setup remote DND feature access code. To turn on dial the FAC for remote DND followed by 100.

You will have to sure that interconnect restirctions or COR don't stop you from doing trunk to trunk connections.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
