Hi,

How can I prevent the details section from printing on each page? I want the section to print at end of page.

Is there a code I can use or just check print at bottom of page?

Thanks for your help

Can I force the section to print at the end by checking for page number? If page number is the last page then print the section?

Do you know the exact formula I can use?

Thanks.

please do not double post.

Try using new page after detail section and checking print at bottom of page.

Ian

I tried the above but I still have it printing on each page.

I also tried the formula below for Print at Bottom of Page

Pagenumber = Totalpagecount

But still no luck.

Thanks for your help.

Anita

I tried inserting the formula in a group footer.

I checked New Page After with a formula

not onlastrecord

I also checked Print at bottom of Page and Keep Together.

But now the detail rows are page breaking. Initially I had two row in one page but now the rows are split and I have just one row per page hence doubling gthe number of pages.

How to fix the page break from happening?

Thanks

I managed to get rid of the extra pages from apearig within the report as well the blanks lines appear at the end.

I used the below two.

Under section expert formula for Suppress (No Drill-Down)

not onlastrecord

Under section expert formula for Print at Bottom of Page
Pagenumber = Totalpagecount

But now, when the blank lines continue to the next page, and if I enter 50 I am not having enough space to enter more text. I can only enter 40 lines.

Why is this?

Also I was trying to suppress the column header section in the last pages where the blank lines are generated, but there already exists a formula and I am not sure how to include the formula to suppress

I want to include the formula to suppress column headers in the below existing suppress formula.

IF {Detail.ShowNAV} = "Y" AND

IF {Detail.ShowNAV} = "Y" THEN
formula = true
ELSE
formula = false

END IF

I am sorry but I do not understand what you are trying to achieve.

Why would you want a series of blank pages and the one record at the end.

Ian

If you only want one detail line, why don't you suppress all the detail information and just print your information in the report footer? You can have multiple report footers. Or maybe you need to have one big group and use a group footer with the information.
