I need some help. I have an erp system that I want to write a report in crystal. I need to create a report for a workorder. A workorder will have main header cards that have an ID number. Behind each of the header cards could be another set of header cards with ID numbers. For example:

Header card 1
Header card 9
Header card 14
Header card 20

Behind header card 1 is header cards 2-8
Behind header card 9 is header cards 10-13
Behind header card 14 is header cards 15-19
Behind header card 20 is header cards 21-25

These numbers can very and they could go up to or over 100.

What I want to be able to figure out is some way to group together cards 1 - 8 and so on no matter the number range or high up the header cards go. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Please see thread149-1173329, toward the end.

Well, call me stupid but I'm not sure how this will help me. I'm not that great with crystal formulas.

The thread exactly addresses your issue as I understand it. Why not try it?

I'm sorry. I'm lost. The id number will come from the requirements table. I'm not sure how to do this. There will be more than 4 cards that was just an example. Sorry if I'm fustrating you.
