Formula Problem 1

Hi,

I am working on a report which has a formula in the field explorer. But when i try to find out that formula in the report,i am not able to find that. and also it is not allowing me to delete that formual. can anybody please advice me how to find that formual in the report where it is being used.

if you find it then click formula editor and remove it
then you should be able to delete it

The dirty solution is to export to Report Definition File then do a search for that formula, you'll find it in it's appropriate section so that you can readily locate it.

Another trick is to alter the formula to return an invalid data type, which will make it puke and error depending upon its functionality.
