Using three fields Querytime(DateTime) & PagesEmailed(Number) & Username(String). I'm grouping on Username. I'm trying to sum the number of pagesemailed using the day part of the Querytime field. My report is laid out by days(ex: below)
What I need is help on a formula or multiple formulas for each day of the month to look at the day and sum the number of pagesemailed for each user during that day. Any help would be appreciated..

Pages emailed for the Month of February
day
user 1 2 3 4

Sounds like you need a cross-tab. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

I don't think a Cross-Tab will work. I have set-up individual formulas for each day ex: IF Day({Querylog.Querytime}) = 19 Then sum ({Querylog.PagesEmailed}) The problem is that when I put the formulas on the report I get nothing. I have grouped this by ({Querylog.UserName}).

I think a Crosstab by Day by User will work without all of those formulas. However, it will only list days that exist in the data.

If you want to use the formula approach, it is described in my FAQ on common formulas (faq149-243) as the 'manual cross-tab' approach. You do a formula that is 1 and 0, and then sum the formula. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
