Formula Help - Date Range

Hi All,

I have a field called {unitx.x_complete} i need my report to work cumlatively to the last day of the last full month from 19th may 2003. For example if i ran the report today (11 july 2006) then i need the report selection to look at all jobs completed from the 19 may 2003 to 30 June 2006, however if i ran the report in august then it would need to look at jobs completed from 19 may 2003 to 31 july 2006 etc...

Any ideas on how to do this?

Try:

{table.date} in date(2003,5,19) to currentdate - day(currentdate)

thats superb! thanks very much, but a follow up question if i may...

Can I now put in my report header something like "Period to Friday, 30 June, 2006. What formula would I use to calculate this? Many thanks.

when i try to just paste the formula into a formula field it tells me that its a boolean. any ideas? Thanks.

For a description of the dates used, go to the field explorer->formula->new->enter:

"Period to: "+ totext(currentdate-day(currentdate),"dddd, dd MMMM, yyyy")
