So I read somewhere what the best practice measure for calculating this figure for Exchange 2003 server was but I've lost the information.

Does anyone know what the calc is? is it based on a per IS store basis or just overall amount of users.

any direction would be great here!

thanks

It's not quite that easy. You need to determine the load. How big will those mailboxes be? What kind of storage do you have? It's easy to build a box that will support hundreds, even thousands, of users.
