Hi all,

I would like to create a form where the user selects some attributus, select the document for upload and after the user submit the form, besed on the attributes selected, the uploaded document will be stored in an specifric folder. Finally sends an email to all the users insides a group in order to notify them that there is a new document.

Is this possible via configuration.

I know that we have installed the elink module, and this could help me but any suggestion would be appreciated even "NOT POSSIBLE" and then consider other options.

You could "automagic","autoconfigure" it with OOB Livelink workflow plus packages like XML WF Extensions.
Using a form that drives a workflow-the workflow is the one that takes your business rules like you have stated
If you have never designed a livelink workflow look in the KB for books like
WF Design 1,2 and 3
elink is the module that allows you to send emails into livelink. For sending mail from livelink
it uses just a simple smtp connection.Elink is not needed in livelink to send email

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

But I have several folders.

The folder structure would be Activity -> Year -> Month

When the user select a date and an activity in a form I want the workflow to analyze the date and the activity in order to select the appropriate folder.

I would think it is possible with OOB livelink workflow and forms if the folders were already there. All you need is a evaluate step and
many IH steps to put the document there.alas it is not possible for me to create a workflow map and a form and do the solution for you. There are at least a 100 different samples of workflow and forms in the KB.
Even if the folder was not pre created you should be abl d to concatenate form tags like this to come up wth a name
[DATATYPE_1_1__4_YEAR][DATATYPE_1_1__4_MONTH][DATATYPE_1_1__4_DAY]
If you create a form and workflow and show us your progress and where you are getting stuck you will get more help
