Formatting some text

I have got some text that comes out of a database, that I want to format so that it is presentable, with character returns kept in the places that the user entered them in the administration form. Coming from a Coldfusion background, I can't seem to find a function that performs the same function as Coldfusions ParagraphFormat. Is there a function that does this is ASP ???

I don't know that Coldfusion, but I did it using VBScript Replace function (

Replace CR by &quot;<BR>&quot;.
