I know this must be a simple question. I am putting an Access db on a website and want to force the userpopulating the initial databse to enter names with the first letter capitalized.

ie: Mary Jones, Suzy Moore, jenny Lee >> Jenny Lee

I know I can do this on the site for anyone using there, but how can I control what someone can do within Access?

Is there a format for this?

Thanks!

I would use a form and a little code in the After Update event of the textbox bound to the field:
Me.txtFirstName = strConv(Me.txtFirstName, 3)
You need to be carefull with names like McMahon and many many others.
