It seems some of the formatting i do in one database gets lost when i export that form to another database. Has anyone seen this before?
Elizabeth if you read this thanks for your help with some of my other questions.

Give us an Example of formating your are talking about
i.e. is the date 1/1/2000 and you want 01/01/2000
or ....

Formatting in general like fields being lined up or text boxes not sized correctly after export. Monitors are the same as are all setting I can find on each system.

csf, glad I was able to help. But as to this question, I have only seen formatting change when I had a different default set up in the new database. I've never seen anything change that I specifically formatted.

Could it be your screen definition in the control panel? i.e., the number of pixels?

Or, is it possible that the font you specified in the form on the first system is not available on the second PC? Maybe it's defaulting to some other font which doesn't line up the same.
