Formatting hard drive with XP on it

Should be able to boot to the XP CD and fdisk/format...just don't use NTFS...then switch CD's and use the 2nd one to install the "other" OS.
Or, you can go to a friend's house and make a bootable floppy...in AddRemovePrograms there's a tab marked Startup Disk....then boot with it and fdisk/format.
If it wasn't using NTFS you can just format it and go.
