Formatting cells in asp/excel

I read in thread333-972473 by k8277 that "<TD style='vnd.ms-excel.numberformat:0.00'>" would format a cell for a number. Which is awesome, but I was wondering where you find information like this? I've search the web and I've seen several references to formatting asp/excel for numbers, however I am in need of formatting a cells alignment. Can anyone point to where I could learn more about the methods of 'vnd.ms-excel'?

A Google search should find what you need. I did a search using the following (without the quotes): "vnd.ms-excel asp format". And here is one of the first ones that was returned:
