Formatting background of a page in MS Word 2

Dear Pals

How can I design pages to contain a framed border with a header and/or a footer?

I try to do this by creating a large header and drawing a box in the header. But the header and the box can never fill the page-so I get half the page framed.

Might seem silly, this request of mine, but help me out and I will use it over and over.

Huh? Why not just frame the page? Why are you using the header, or footer?

do you mean I have to frame every new page? That is tough when you do 200pages

Try Format/Borders and Shading/Page Border and drop down the Art selections and see if something there will help you out.
