Is it possible to format the text in an e-mail that is generated from access? I wrote code to generate an automated e-mail, but there are certain lines I would like to have bold. I'm not sure if this is possible.

Also - since I'm asking the question, is possible to make certain characters bold when generating an e-mail via vba through access, can you also change the font size, color, and font type?

Thank you in advance to all who help! Cruz'n and Booz'n always.
This post shows what little I do at work.

Hello hwkranger,
I don't know what method you are using to send e-mail. So I will take a guess. If you are using
Code:
DoCmd.SendObject
, you need to specify
Code:
acFormatHTML
as the SendFormat. You must also encode your body text with HTML tags, such as <b>Bold</b>. Here are some other ways to send e-mail: thread705-475296 .
Good Luck, Robert
